The lowest point is Atlantic Ocean 0 m below sea level and the highest is Mount Afadjato 885 m. Its mean elevation is about 190 m. Accra is the capital of Ghana and can be found 5 33 N, 0 13 W.
Population and life in Ghana
In July 2016 Ghana had a population of 26908262people. In 2015, 0,54 of the population lived in cities. The annual growth rate of urbanization is 3.4%. The residents of the country are called Ghanaian(s). The Ghanaian population has a median age of 21 years. The median age for males in 2016 was 20.5 years, and 21.5 years for females. The estimated growth rate of the Ghanaian population in 2016 was 2.18%. Looking at life expectancy, the Ghanaian people live an average of 66.6 years (males 64.1 years, females 69.1 years). Statistically, Ghanaian women give birth to 4.03 children in their lifetime.

Electricity and internet infrastructure in Ghana
Only 72% (7.3 million) of the people living in Ghana had full access to electricity in 2013 (rural population: 50%; urban population: 92%). Among those 23.5% (July 2015 est.) or 6.181 million Ghanaians, had access to an internet connection.
